These edible holiday gifts are some of my absolute favorites when it comes to gifting something unique and homemade! Plus, enjoy free printable holiday labels in 5 different colors to complete your gifts.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! In like, ten days.
Still need a gift? Personally, I absolutely love receiving homemade gifts during the holiday season, especially if you can eat or drink them. They’re thoughtful, fun, and sure to please. (I mean, who doesn’t love food/chocolate/coffee/wine, right?!)
These 6 edible holiday gifts are all recipes from the blog that are tried and tested and perfect for any last-minute gifts. I give these to my friends, neighbors, co-workers, you name it. I’ve included something for everyone. There’s the classic cookies (with a spin), savory treats (hello, bacon jam), goodies for the health-conscious, chocolate (of course), and delicious apple butter where the slow-cooker does all the work for you (#thankful).
Plus I even made you adorable label printables, so you’re good-to-go from the makin’ to the wrappin’.
6 Easy and Delicious Edible Holiday Gifts
Slow-Cooker Spiced Apple Butter {Gluten-Free, Vegan}
Apple butter is just so delicious. Perfect on pancakes, toast, or eaten with a spoon, this apple butter is infused with warm wintry spices, vanilla bean, and brown sugar. The best part? The slow-cooker does all the work for you. I love gifting this apple butter in small mason jars and including them in Foodie Gift Baskets I made with Wente wines. Grab the recipe for this apple butter here.
Cranberry, Pepita and Cocao Nib Chocolate Bark {Gluten-Free, Vegan}
Nothing says edible holiday gifts quite like chocolate bark. Specifically, red and green decorated chocolate bark. Take a break from the typical peppermint bark and make our cocao nib, cranberry, coconut, pecan, and pepita version. It’s festive, pretty, crunchy, and well-balanced. Place it in clear bags with a pretty ribbon or a festive tin. Grab the recipe for this chocolate bark here.
Superfood Grain-Free Granola with Wild Blueberries {Gluten-Free, Refined Sugar-Free}
Homemade granola makes thoughtful edible holiday gifts, and it’s a nice break from the go-to cookies and sweets. Our grain-free version contains 11 superfoods, including flax, heart-healthy nuts, chia seeds, and warm spices. The dried wild blueberries, raw honey, and pure vanilla give this granola a pleasant sweetness. Grab the recipe for this superfood granola here.
Ugly Sweater Vanilla Spice Cookies
It’s hard to say no to a cookie, but sometimes it’s possible to get holiday cookied-out. But these Ugly Sweater Cookies are just so fun. I love seeing people’s faces when they open a tin of these. Made with a delicious vanilla and spice shortbread, these cookies get a nice kick of warm and aromatic spices. Get the recipe and tutorial for these cookies here.
Bourbon Bacon Jam {Gluten-Free}
If anyone says to me “men don’t like getting edible holiday gifts,” I would immediately debunk that fact. Like, have you heard of bacon jam? What about bourbon-infused bacon jam? Yeah, I know. This sweet-and-salty jam is perfect for any meat lover, bacon or breakfast aficionado. It’s addicting. Grab the recipe for this bacon jam here.
White Chocolate Cranberry No-Bake Protein Bars {Gluten-Free, Naturally Sweetened}
I have one or two runners or health-enthusiasts on my list that I wouldn’t dream of gifting a cookie tin to. These no-bake protein bars are perfect for them, for busy students, or for anyone with a hectic grab-and-go schedule. They’re packed with protein and naturally sweetened, and the white chocolate-cranberry drizzle makes them festive, too. Grab the recipe for these protein bars here.
Now that we have all these edible holiday gifts, what can we pair them with? While they’re fine on their own, I often like pairing them in little theme baskets (i.e. a breakfast basket with local coffee, maple syrup, pancake mix, and bacon jam) or with wine. Wine makes everyone I know very, very happy. I especially love to gift Wente wines, one of my absolute favorites who I have worked with several times before. Wente makes it easy to gift during the holidays. They offer these amazing gift baskets and even offer customizable labels. My favorite is their estate-grown Morning Fog Chardonnay.
Now that we have edible holiday gifts and wine to pair it with, let’s get some labels! I’ve made these labels into 5 festive colors for you to print below. If you’re like me and never have color ink in your printer, they’re just as cute printed in black and white on colored paper or kraft paper.
Enjoy these free printable labels made by me for all of your edible holiday gifts! Simply choose your color and print: Mint, Green, Pale Pink, Pink, or Blue.
Thanks to Wente for pairing up with us to bring you these 6 edible holiday gifts and free printable labels!
